Alexandra Gomes is a physiotherapist with a degree from the Lisbon School of Health Technology, dedicated to functional recovery and the promotion of balanced and conscious health.<\/p>\n

Driven by scientific curiosity and a genuine desire to understand the human body in depth, she specialised in Neuromuscular Physiotherapy through a postgraduate course at the Portuguese Red Cross School of Health. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to the treatment and rehabilitation of neuromuscular diseases such as stroke, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis and Facial Paralysis, becoming a reference in this area in Portugal.<\/p>\n

In 2020, she joined Facial Therapy Specialists International (FTSI) and the Facial Paralysis Unit at CUF Tejo Hospital, pioneering the development of specialised physiotherapy protocols for Facial Paralysis - an area in which she continues to innovate and train other professionals. She is currently continuing this work at Integrativa, where she is deepening her clinical and human approach to accompanying people with nervous system dysfunctions.<\/p>\n

With a global and integrative vision, Alexandra Gomes is also a Clinical Pilates Instructor, certified by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). She complements her practice with training in Women's Health Physiotherapy, Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, Prepartum Preparation and Postpartum Follow-up, supporting women at different stages of life with sensitivity, empathy and scientific rigour.<\/p>\n

At Integrativa, Alexandra combines technical knowledge, clinical experience and empathetic listening, offering individualised and effective support, centred on the person and their functional balance and overall well-being.<\/p>\n
