Daily choices, such as staying on the sofa or exercising, can have a direct impact through the release of hormones like dopamine and serotonin. These substances are associated with feelings of happiness and pleasure, and the good news is that they can be stimulated naturally.<\/p>\n<p>Creating healthy habits is an effective way to promote emotional balance and help combat anxiety and depression. Sleep and diet, for example, are fundamental pillars for maintaining emotional stability. Sleeping well regulates stress levels and allows the brain to recover from daily wear and tear. Adopting a balanced diet, including nutrient-rich foods, contributes to serotonin production, promoting energy and emotional stability.<\/p>\n<p>Activities such as reading for 30 minutes, meditation, and physical exercise also play an essential role. Reading helps to relax and reduce stress, while meditation improves concentration and calms the mind. Physical exercise, in turn, releases endorphins and dopamine, neurotransmitters associated with well-being and happiness. These daily practices help combat anxiety, boost self-esteem, and create a positive cycle for mental health.<\/p>\n<p>The creation of new habits takes time and consistency. Did you know it can take around 22 days to turn an activity into an automatic routine?! What was so hard to start at first becomes natural and automatic over time.<\/p>\n<p>With small daily choices, such as reducing time spent on social media, organising your day better, and prioritising activities that promote well-being, it's possible to build a more balanced lifestyle.
