Filipa Braga da Costa
Filipa Braga da Costa graduated in Clinical and Counselling Psychology from the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies in 2004, dedicating herself early on to the area of clinical psychopathology, with experience in a hospital setting and private practice since 2005.
With the aim of deepening their clinical practice, they completed postgraduate studies in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and obtained advanced specialisation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, areas in which they have been developing their practice.
Since 2010, they have worked in the assessment and retraining of children and young people with Specific Learning Difficulties in a school setting, individually monitoring their academic and emotional development.
In 2015, he/she created the vocational guidance programme “My Project,” aimed at young people from the 9th year of schooling through to higher education. In this context, he/she views vocational guidance as a process of discovery and self-knowledge, with the aim of clarifying interests, supporting decision-making, and promoting informed and conscious academic and professional choices.
Currently, you maintain your clinical practice with a person-centred approach, integrating technical knowledge and professional experience, with the aim of promoting psychological well-being and personal development.
