Madalena Raposo
Madalena Raposo is a psychologist in Lisbon, with a degree in Psychology and a Master's in Neuropsychology from the Catholic University, dedicated to helping her clients face challenges, adapt to changes, and achieve their emotional well-being.
Your professional journey began in Neuropsychology, where you focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of acquired brain injuries, head trauma, strokes, consequences of aneurysms and tumours, and the prevention of neurodegenerative diseases. While supporting your clients, you realised there was a lack of tools to aid emotional adaptation to illness and the limitations it brings. This led you to complete a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology at INSPSIC, and to fall in love with the impact that psychological support can have on people's lives.
With this new perspective, he deepened his knowledge at the School of Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapy (APTCCI), specialising in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, a practical and results-oriented approach that helps clients effectively deal with emotional and behavioural challenges.
Throughout this journey, an interest in vocational guidance also emerged. She realised the importance of helping young people and adults make informed decisions about their academic and professional paths, identifying skills and interests, and charting a course aligned with their goals and values.
At Integrativa, in Restelo (Lisbon), Madalena Raposo supports each person individually, in a safe and welcoming space, geared towards personal and emotional growth.
